Life
Shardza Tashi Gyaltsen (1859–1935) was a Bön scholar–yogi whose writings, notably the cycle translated as Heart Drops of Dharmakaya, present Bön Dzogchen in forms that later reached international print. ORDL lists him as a literature card for Bön on the esoteric map. Empowerment and practice require qualified Bön teachers; this page sells no rites.
The system
- Bön Dzogchen in modern literary transmission
- Integration of monastic scholarship and yogic writing
- ORDL boundary: reading—not empowerment substitute
Key works
- Heart Drops of Dharmakaya (English translation cycle)
- Related Bön doctrinal and practice manuals in Tibetan print
Where to start
- Read beside Tibetan Buddhist Dzogchen literature already on ORDL (e.g. Longchenpa) to see family resemblances and differences
- Seek living Bön teachers for practice questions
