Life
Dōgen (1200–1253) founded the Sōtō Zen school in Japan. His Shōbōgenzō fascicles—available in selections such as Moon in a Dewdrop—are central published sources for zazen, time and Buddha-nature in Japanese Buddhist literature. ORDL lists him as a literature card. This page does not replace a teacher or monastery schedule.
The system
- Zazen and “just sitting” in literary fascicles
- Being-time and Buddha-nature as philosophical prose
- ORDL boundary: texts—not a substitute for 真人师父
